In 2006, Osman Jr had the original idea to drive jazz funk musicians into latin musical vocabulary. After few successfull live exhibition where they took on the “Maestros” Tite Curet, Cheo Feliciano, they decided to work on original latin funk fusion recording session. They looked for a unique sound, a mix between seventies nanalogic recording, contemporary funk arrangment, rootsy percussions and latin soul vocal melodies. The Paris young hippest funk generation musicians meet the Puerto Rican musical heritage… In 2008, HOT CASA decided to produce their first single on 7 inch vinyl. It’s immediatly a success. Sold out after 3 weeks, playlisted all over the world, from “Mambo Machine radio show in NYC” to Radio NOVA in Paris.
